Privacy Policy
Last updated: April 9, 2026
This Privacy Policy describes how FocusFlow (“we,” “us,” or “our”) collects, uses, and shares information when you use our browser extension, website, and related services. By using FocusFlow, you agree to this policy.
Who we are
FocusFlow provides a productivity extension for supported browsers. Purchases and subscriptions may be processed by our payment partner, Lemon Squeezy, which acts as the merchant of record for certain transactions. Lemon Squeezy’s handling of payment and order data is governed by its own policies in addition to this notice.
Local-first data (extension)
FocusFlow is a local-first extension. Your blocklists, bypass logs, and productivity analytics are stored locally on your device. We do not transmit, sell, or monitor your web browsing activity.
Unless you enable an optional sync or backup feature that we clearly disclose at the time of activation, operational data created by the extension remains on your machine under your control. Uninstalling the extension or clearing browser data may remove locally stored information according to your browser’s behavior.
1. Information We May Collect
Depending on how you interact with us, we may process:
- Account and licensing information — such as email address, license status, and transaction references supplied by Lemon Squeezy or our internal systems to fulfill your purchase.
- Feedback communications — information you send when you provide feedback or report issues (for example via email), including your message content and metadata needed to review your suggestions.
-
Website and analytics data (Marketing Site Only): When you visit our public marketing website (focusflowpro.com), we collect basic technical data (such as IP address, device type, browser type, and pages viewed) to understand our website traffic.
CRITICAL: This data collection is strictly limited to our marketing domain. The FocusFlow browser extension does not track, monitor, collect, or transmit your IP address, browser type, or browsing history across the rest of the internet. - FocusFlow Extension Data (Local-First): By default, all of your blocklists, bypass justifications, and daily productivity stats are stored locally on your own device. They never leave your browser.
-
Weekly Analytics Emails (Opt-In Sync): If you explicitly choose to enable our free Cloud Sync & Analytics feature, the only data transmitted to our secure servers are your mathematical productivity aggregates:
- Number of deep work cycles completed.
- Total time spent in flow.
- Total number of intentional bypasses used.
- Total time spent in bypass mode.
How we use information
We use the information above to:
- Provide, maintain, and improve FocusFlow and our website;
- Process purchases, deliver license keys, and manage subscriptions;
- Respond to support requests and communicate important service updates;
- Comply with law, enforce our terms, and protect rights and safety;
- Analyze aggregated or de-identified usage of our website to improve conversion and content.
Sharing of information
We do not sell your personal information. We may share data with service providers who assist us (e.g., payment processing via Lemon Squeezy, email delivery, hosting, analytics) under contractual obligations consistent with this policy. We may also disclose information if required by law or to protect FocusFlow and our users.
Cookies
Our website may use cookies and similar technologies for functionality, preferences, and analytics. You can control cookies through your browser settings; disabling cookies may limit certain features.
Data retention
We retain information only as long as necessary for the purposes described above, unless a longer period is required by law. Licensing and billing records may be kept for accounting, tax, and dispute resolution in line with legal requirements.
Security
We implement reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect information in our control. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure; we cannot guarantee absolute security.
International users
If you access our services from outside your home country, your information may be processed in countries where we or our providers operate, which may have different data protection laws.
Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or restrict certain personal data, or to object to or port your data. To exercise applicable rights, contact us at feedback@focusflowpro.com. We will respond in line with applicable law.
Children
FocusFlow is not directed to children under 16, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe we have collected such data, please contact us so we can delete it.
Changes
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will post the revised version on this page and update the “Last updated” date. Material changes may be communicated through the website or by email where appropriate.
